BRC Pillar Two - Inclusivity

BRC Pillar Two - Inclusivity

All Bodies. All paces. All backgrounds.

At Buffalo Run Co., inclusivity isn’t a buzzword — it’s a non-negotiable. This community exists for beginners taking their first walk-run, seasoned runners chasing big goals, and everyone in between. If you’re moving your body forward in a way that’s honest to where you are, you belong here.

All Bodies Are Running Bodies

There is no “runner’s body.”
There is only a body that runs.

Some are fast. Some are strong. A lot are tired but showing up anyway. Some are learning to trust movement again. Every one of those bodies is worthy of respect.

We don’t believe in shaming pace, appearance, or progress. We believe in celebrating effort — because effort looks different for everyone. Comparison has no place here. Your journey is yours, it counts, AND WE ARE HERE FOR IT!

All Paces Are Progress

Walking is not failure.
Jogging is not “less than.”
Slower days are not setbacks.

Running isn’t a performance — it’s a practice.

Some days you’ll feel powerful. Many days you’ll feel heavy. Both are part of the process. Whether you’re moving one mile or ten, whether you’re stopping often or flowing freely, progress is still happening.

If you showed up, you did the work.

All Backgrounds Make Us Stronger

Every runner brings something different to the table — experiences, stories, struggles, wins. That diversity is a strength, not a challenge.

A community grows when people share what they’ve learned, support each other through hard seasons, and celebrate victories big and small. The beauty of belonging to a crew is realizing you don’t have to do this alone — someone else has been where you are, or is walking it alongside you.

Here, we encourage.
We listen.
We learn from one another.

This Is a Support System, Not a Scoreboard

Buffalo Run Co. is a place to be seen, not judged.

It’s a place where:

  • Beginners are welcomed, not questioned

  • Walkers and runners train side by side

  • Progress is measured in consistency, not comparison

  • Encouragement is louder than ego

We believe joy belongs in movement. We believe community makes hard things feel lighter. And we believe the best running spaces are the ones where people feel safe enough to show up exactly as they are.

The Herd Mentality

Buffalo don’t run alone — they move as a herd.

This pillar exists because running is better when it’s shared. When we support one another, we run farther — not always in distance, but in confidence, consistency, and belief.

No matter your pace.
No matter your path.
If you’re moving forward, you’re one of us.

All bodies. All paces. All backgrounds.
